At The Sundowner Hotel Motel we are proud of the things our Customers tell us and the compliments that we get for the quality of our accommodation, our food and our service.

Stayed at the motel on 12/11/11 and what a pleasant and pleasurable surprise. The room was huge, a king bed plus a king single, which left enough room for a quick nine-holes of golf. It was clean, fresh, with a very contemporary decor and oozed 5-star luxury. The ensuite was very clean and spacious and it was very easy to see that the staff took pride in keeping everything top-shelf. The layout of the motel is neat and clean and the car parking is very generous – and free. And what an absolute bonus to take a short stroll down to the very modern hotel complex and have everything on tap from meals, to atmosphere to pokies and TAB. Our congratulations to the owners and the staff.

Just wanted to thank you for a delicious vegan meal last night.  The food was truly restaurant quality.  I find it very difficult in Whyalla to obtain vegan food so it was with great delight that I tucked into my gourmet food.   Once again thank you.

May I take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for the wonderful hospitality shown to me during the Whyalla Pro-am.

The Meals in the hotel were great, rooms were very comfortable, relaxing and some of the best I have stayed in around the world.

It was a super Pro-am with the members and especially the junior golfers so many thanks for your sponsorship and supporting the pro-am event.

Keep well and I look forward to visiting again next year.

Recently the mates and I visited Whyalla on our way to Port Lincoln for a spot of fishing.

We were towing a 5 plus metre boat. After driving around Whyalla looking for a good place to stay where we could park the boat and the fourbee we came across the Sundowner. Piece of cake.

Plenty of room to park the boat [there were lots of caravans there too] where we could keep an eye on it and the two rooms that Marilyn our friendly host gave us had been recently refurbished.

Everything's going great we said. But they only got better.

The meals were fantastic - not only well presented but big enough to keep this fisho and his friends more than satisfied. Won a quick dollar on the pokies and had a few beers at the Sundowner hotel [which is well away from the motel units] had a great night's sleep in a comfortable queen sized bed and on our way at 4 next morning ready for some action further down the coast,

And did we stay at the Sundowner going back - you bet we did and it was as good as the first time. - Recommend it to anyone that wants or needs to stay in a hotel motel in Whyalla.

Having just visited Whyalla on business it was recommended to me to stay at the Sundowner Hotel Motel.

They have just finished building a number of new units, and upgrading the existing units.

I was fortunate to have been booked in to one of the new units, very upmarket, the re-furbished units look just as comfortable.

We had a number of meals at the venue during my stay, extensive menu and value for money.

Management and staff must be commended on running such a great venue.

WELL DONE TO ALL AT THE SUNDOWNER, GREAT PLACE TO STAY, WILL BE BACK
